I will start from somewhat good parts. Show says it is psycho-villainess-revenge story and it really is. No lies, no tricks.
Story has good pacing, shots are good directed, everything presented is really clear - so it never a doubt "no, but what if she is not THAT bad" - it is always very direct.

While some psycho moments showing in episode 2, peak is revealed in episode 8. Without spoilers I would say I don't remember I was more disgust than here much often. Maybe "School days" ending was similar kind of disgust.

While I put 'don't recommend' I clearly feel some people can enjoy ... this, if you were rooting for Medusa in Soul Eater, for Light in Death Note and so on, you could possibly enjoy this, keep in mind it has a lot of unjustified violence.

What forced me to drop it? Well, not psychopath MC, but rather lack of any "opposing force". Nothing really feels like a threat for main heroine, she is completely overpowered and even if she somehow ends being dead (I no idea, not a spoiler), it would not satisfy me. I have no one to root for in this anime.

This is situational gag comedy based on spooky/supernatural things. Well, at least on paper.

To be honest, premise is okay, nothing special, FMC Mechako is cute and funny, and some jokes surely gave me a good laugh.

I have two main issues. First one, is it is very situational and episodic, after basic setup of main characters meet, nothing really happens. No plot advancement of sorts.

Second one, is MMC. he is just constantly screaming. "Aaaargh, ghost! Aaaargh, girl! Aaaargh, stone on a road!" This part is not funny, it is irritating, it's like 30% of episode time is just pure rage scream.

I can't recommend it, ... but this title is not awful, so someone could enjoy it.

I can write paragraph after paragraph about flaws in this anime - about stupid 'boy finds naked girl in the room' scene repeated 20 times, about useless love triangle, about the off-tone jokes... But that all does not matter in the end. Yes, this anime is far from perfect, yet...

I never cried so much. I cried watching Madoka, Takopii no Genzai, Plastic Memories, Your Lie in April, Toradora, and so on. But I never ever felt that some media hit myself in my own problems, stereotypes, and prejudices so hard.

This anime is about art school students living together. They spent their time as friends; some ... love is happening (but romance is not a main theme here), and they try hard to succeed in their projects and fail. And do they fail hard, and if you are anywhere close to the arts, you will feel their failures. Life is unforgiving sometimes. But if you continue after failing, sometimes, not every time, you can reach a tiny success. Acceptance. People saying, "Yes, you did great", to have a fall next time.

With those high and low times, it is important to have friends or loved ones near you to support. This is what this anime is about. And ideally, they are happy when you succeed, not envious of you! Ideally. And I have never ever seen something that deconstructs envy of talent and success that greatly. It is so well-prepared and hidden and hits you very hard with just 2 lines of dialog between characters. And then hit you again by surprise, and I am having tears while writing this. If you ever thought, 'Damn, this artist is so talented I be never like him' you should, you MUST see this.

If I did not have any emotions, I would say this is a solid 7/10 drama anime. But I just can't put anything below 10.

I hardly can imagine audience that can enjoy this. Maybe someone who is new to anime and like online MMO and just recently was kicked from the group... and still I would recommend something like "Banished from the Hero's Party" (Red and Rit) instead of this.

Story is mostly non-existent, characters all one-sided cliche, and you could still have something good with original action or dialogs, but only thing I remember after 4 episodes how characters discuss buff magic and how it is important to keep buff rotation. Even as RPG and ARPG enjoyer I could not relate to characters and plot.

On positive side, ... I would not agree with others that animation/visuals were horrible. They were decent, not amazing, okay for low budget. So it gets +2 to rating from there.

p.s. and it also has some stupid fanservice with very underage girls I thought was relic of 2000's.

This is a really dark story that mainly focuses on questions "What is an adult?" "What is a child?" "Can they love each other?" (sometimes in fair way, like love of Santa-Claus to all children who believe in him. Sometimes in a very creepy way, like principal seeking for attention of his looks. This is not about pedos btw, nothing really sexual happen* in series but for some people attitude of one bad guy in anime can be... triggering.

Overall I can't even decide what is bad itself or what I've done differently. Good humor, stunning and unique visuals, OP and ED that I don't ... want to skip, story that has 0 'deus ex machina moments' or plot armor, everything is character-driven and all characters (well, except one bad guy), were likeable for me.

Well, it maybe not a very good choice to watch this with your grandma on Christmas. Still would recommend it to everyone who enjoyed over-the-top absurdity of 'Kill la kill' or dark emotions of 'Takopii no Genzai'.

*show has a bit of detour with teenage girls love but it has no fanservice at all.

I watched quite a lot romance anime; I was expecting this to be either good romance story, or good comedy or drama. I was not satisfied at all by any of my expectations.

Story plot: 5/10. It is kinda basic that is not bad per se, just nothing innovative. Shy boy ran into 'less shy' girl and they hang for a bit. While hanging around none of both is sincere or transparent about feelings. MC just hiding the fact he leaving the town in few days from someone who at least his friend! And confession is just in final few ... seconds of show, maybe it is intended to be romantic, I feel it was empty and not based at all.

Characters: 1/10. I just can relate/understand or sympathize the. Especially FMC. He would be okay if it was pure family drama, but for romance he is just pathetic. Zero development for both MC, and no final resolution did not feel like a development at all, just some 'deus ex machina' plot.

Art and music are gorgeous though. Also, I had couple laughs and some antics of characters also was cute. I can rate 7/10 for anything out of plot+characters.

My total is 3/10, I would not recommend this to anyone who don't want to watch dense/insecure characters for WHOLE SPAN of movie.
