I love how this is literally just one big fan fiction where everyone just live happily. Always read this before bed because it is just that comfy. The plot in this manga revolve around in maybe one of the timeline Homura has lived by. I mean at this point, it just looks like every new rendition of the story, is another Homura timeline because it is very possible for her to did that. Like if I say this is in some kind of way an alternate universe, its also possible for Homura to just jump between universe. Anyway, this manga is great. Even though it ... is a 4-koma, I don't have a hard time reading it. Usually 4-koma have very small text and I need to zoom in every now and then, but with this manga I don't have any problem. Art style is also very fitting with the goofy vibes all the characters had throughout the chapters. It is simplistic, looks like what you would expect at the end of every volume to tell a quick joke or gag.

Definitely read this if you want to heal from all the trauma the anime throw at you. All the character is well-rounded, just like their anime personality counterpart. And we also get to see more of their relationship and reaction which otherwise impossible to happen in the anime. Though not every jokes always hit me, it is still overall a very enjoyable read. Some of the jokes can only be understand if you are Japanese, because they bring up the samurai and whatnot. My favorite moment when reading is when they break the 4th wall, I always have a soft spot for meta jokes like that.

This anime tells a story about "cashier", or you can also say customer service. As a person who experience first hand how working in a hospitality is, this anime resonate with me a lot. In here we will follow a girl called Alina. She is very very tired from overworking everyday. But lucky for her, she actually posses of what is considered an overpowered skill from her determination to beat overworking. I hear that overworking is a bad habit Japanese people have, so I guess the reason this idea come to fruition is because the author is also fed up with overworking. I will never ... get tired of this kind of trope where you take something from reality so the viewers can relate to, and add the twist of anime to make it entertaining.

The anime twist in this overworking show is the fact that our MC work as a receptionist for dungeon quests. That kind of receptionist obviously doesn't exist in real life, but a lot of viewers can imagine how stressful it is by comparing it to another job that exist in real life. From endless rude customer, all the way to annoying boss. One thing this anime teach is that, no matter how bad the work environment is, you can always cope with your co-workers. At least that's how it was from my experience. And inside this anime too. The relationship between character is very fleshed. Its very human actually. Like how the MC gradually bond and slowly but surely come to term with her new co-workers.

My favorite character is Lululee. At first I like her so much because her character design. She is criminally cute and unapologetically pink. And then her focus episode air, which makes me love her even more. Every character is well-rounded with all their own personal problem, they beat said problem, and in return they grow as a person. As for the villain though... No one really stand out for me because I just couldn't care less for an evil person, except the last villain of the show. They have great character depth and great motivation too to make me remember them. But sadly all other villain have basic "I'm evil, therefore I do bad things".

Even though action is one of the genre listed, don't expect a lot of flashy battle animation. The MC is absurdly overpowered that she can kill almost everyone with one hit of her hammer. The only jam packed full fledged action is only in one episode. It is such a good episode with rising tension and stake. Even for me who dislike the action genre can get hooked by how good it is. Though I can't really compare how good the animation is from other fight scene anime. But overall, the animation itself is decent enough for me to enjoy watching every single episode. The highlight of the animation is the one that they use for opening song. I never skip both the OP and the ED because of different reason. I never skip the OP because it just feel melancholic to listen to and watch the gorgeus art style. At first I kind of wished they use this art style. But also at the same time it won't fit with the anime vibe. Would love to see different anime with this art style tho.

I know this anime existence because of the ED song. I discover it because of YouTube algorithm. It was my most listened song for like 3 months straight, until one day I realize that this is actually an anime song. Decide to check what the title is, and man its so so long. I usually just search "guild anime" and it will pop up. Really enjoy watching all the 12 episodes. So should you watch this? Depends. If you want fantasy action fight scene, don't expect much. If you want Slice of Life, day-to-day worklife, then watch it. This anime is more focused on the overworking part rather than the solo any boss part. That's all I can say about this anime. This anime re-tells the story of the main anime from another perspective. That's what they advertised in the description. Hitori Gotoh little sister acts more like the narrator in here. Which kind of misleading because its not entirely from her perspective. Like how does she know an event occures when she's not there and also she's able to comment on it too. There's no new content either except Futari drawing which is cute. I didn't expect something big tho because it is literally just a recap. It actually helps me a bit when I try to review the main anime, makes me remember becausr I ... am quite forgetful. But should you watch this? Depends. This can be a good refresher when the 2nd season came, but other than that, maybe not. Because the recap just stop at episode 11. So you can't really experience all the story either if you somehow don't watch the main series (why didn't you watch the main series?).

‎This anime tell a story of a loner high school girl. Which, despite her struggle with social anxiety, she still try her best to overcome her weakness. Expect a lot of relatable moment if you are a loner too. Because me myself actually finding it strange how accurate they depicts it. Like I thought I'm just the only one who feel like that, but turns out its a universal thing too. An anime focus on loner doesn't mean there will be no other characters, that would be a bad anime if it only contains the main character. We get to meet the friends she made ... along the journey of Bocchi becoming the rockstar.

‎The loner part isn't the only plot in this anime. Heck I don't even think its the main plot either. The main plot is actually about our MC trying to strive in a small indie band. Hence the anime name. From doing small performances in a small humble live venue, all the way to doing street performances to promote said live venue. Every episode is filled to the brim with guitar, bass, and drum. But the main reason I'm attracted to watch this anime is not because its a music anime, but because its a slice of life anime. Always love how I can see their everyday life unfold. I never been in a band, so I guess it is nice to look inside what kind of life they're having. Well its not really very accurate to what a real band life is because they're still in high school. But they still face the same problem real band probably had.

‎One thing that differentiate this anime from other SoL I watch is the obstacle they have to face. But I think its my fault for expecting a feel good iyashikei anime when they're not even mentioning it in the genre. That doesn't mean I dislike the show altogether though. Its just makes me feel a little bit uneasy when they're faced with high stake problems that usually SoL anime don't have. I mean for sure that they can overcome the problems because its an anime about them, but the tension is still there. Also thanks to the good pacing this anime have, said problems is always solved within that same episode without the need to stretch it for 3 episode in a row.

‎Ryo Yamada is my favorite character from this show. Even though she is expresionless 90% of her screen time, I can still adore her because of her personality. That's what I love about the character development in this anime. Not everyone is a one dimensional one archetype character. The loner is not just the loner, but also someone who is apparently very popular online. The genki girl is not just someone who is always bright and cheerful, she can show her flaw and weaknesses too. They craft every character meticulously so it fits into this group band that cover each other weaknesses. The variety of personality create a unique situations and antique. There's a lot of notable scene where this fictional characters did feel like a real person and not, well, a fictional characters.

‎Now let us talk about the side characters. What I consider as the side characters are the people that isn't in the main band. They only appear like once in an episode, but they appearance is very unique and memorable enough for them to have their own fanbase.

‎The art direction of this anime is my first exposure to this masterpiece. They really just combine every media in existence into one big anime. I really really love when fictional media use the fact that they're fictional to the fullest. Either its a game, or a movie, or an anime. Think out of the box and you will get eager fans waiting for season 2. Yes I'm really looking forward to it. I don't know if the manga have the same art direction as the anime because I don't read it, its on my plan to read though. One more thing I love is the character outfit. Everyone is just so perfect in their own outfit. From the classic schoolgirl uniform, all the way to whatever Ryo wear is a pleasure to look at because it also match their personality.

‎Seiyuu also helped a lot in building these characters. Not only they need to voice act, but they also need to sing the song, because they are a band. Man they're so multitalented. Makes me remember the Love Live and K-On! series where the seiyuu also need to sing, either its insert song or the OP. The ED though, they have 3 different songs its so beautiful. I never skip any of them because its hella good, they never miss man.

‎I've been loving all the memes that has been produced. Never got around to watch the anime until now, but its so hard to ignore all the memes that have been pumped out by the lovely people on the internet. Heck even right now at the time of writing this review, I fall in love with bocchi the weezer riff meme. And before that, it was the bocchi is literally me. And also Nijika Lost Kitten. And another countless "small" meme scattered across the internet. This truly is one of the anime of all time. I can safely say I have a great time tinkering with the community and fandom of such a beloved show. So should you watch this? Definitely definitely yes, give it a watch if you haven't. And if you have watch it, then rewatch, because I will do that too. That's all I can say for this anime, thank you for reading my review :)

Another relaxing episode of living inside the anime world. The vibe they give out in this movie is almost the same as the original episodic anime, hence why I call it another relaxing "episode". Because there is literally no difference at all except its a bit prettier shading. That doesn't mean its bad and didn't worth watching. Though from my experience, this is like, the most "normal" movie of SoL I ever watch. And what do I mean by "normal"? Usually they go on a big adventure when they make a movie out of SoL. Like for example Wataten where the entire cast go on ... vacation, or Yuru Camp where its completely original story and the entire cast is adult. See, they usually have something special that distinguish them from normal episodic show.

I know I'm complaining about the lack of any "special" story above, but not going to lie that I have a great time watching this movie. Story is your usual SoL plot, no heavy drama and all that. Just a little bit of misunderstanding which got solved very quickly. Every minute is filled to the brim with a comfy and relaxing feeling. On top of that, the art style is also very very cute. This anime have one of the cutest art style ever. What I notice the most is that their facial expression is greatly drawn. I mean its not something grandious that will change the trajectory of anime industry for years to come, but they are enough to satisfy viewer with a lethal dose of cuteness. I pause the movie every now and then because its just that beautiful to look at.

Beautiful not only described the character design, but also the environment. The city they live in, mannn if only that kind of city exist in real life I would love to live there. The worldbuilding is very unique because you have this building which looks like they are build in the royal era, and next to that is a person holding smartphone. Fall in love in the direction they went for the worldbuilding. The classic road brick paving, the locomotives and trains, basically everything is so 19th century aesthethic but also modern.

I watch this movie in preparation because I want to continue watching the 3rd season after a long hiatus. I'm gonna say this movie greatly served my own personal purpose, a refresher. They include the entire cast in this movie with balanced screentime, which is good cus now I can remember everyone again. This might be my new favorite SoL franchise. That's all I can say, thank you for reading my review :)

This special episodes are really a rollercoaster of emotion man. Its an absolute masterpiece, how they can combine the first and second episode back to back like that. On the first episode, its just a full blown fan service which is arguably gonna make you cry because of how borderline NSFW it is. I mean not every second of that episode is bare naked, but holy hell man, don't watch this around someone. Thank god (literally) for the ray of light covering their sensitive part. Not so many differences from the main anime tho, the jokes still hit the same, the art style is also ... the same, like obviously, they aren't changing studios just to make two special episodes. Though, I don't think this special episodes exist in the manga.

Now, I have read the manga until the last chapter. And I kid you not that there is nothing can come close to a masterpiece this special cook on the 2nd episode. First episode is "haha onsen arc funni" kind of thing. Meanwhile in the second episode they really take hostage the best writer in the studio and threaten him to make the best short episode ever, because on god this is awesome. The relationship between the original 4 characters with this random blind girl is on another level man. I cry (again) for real this time because I can't help at how sweet they are to this girl. In this episode they show that they're all still a descendant from above who have significant power and significant personality rather than just black (demon) and white (angel). Very very beautifully written all the way for the entirety duration of 15 minute. Definitely watch this one after you finish the original anime, you won't regret a single bit.

This anime is a continuity of the original show. It explain what happens next. The first half of this episode is a summary of the entire anime. I love it so much because its been a year since the last time I watch the original show. Such a good refresher of how good the anime was, until it isn't. The lackluster ending of the original show felt by many fan to be dissapointing, including me. I assume you all know how it ends if you considering watching this OVA. Should you watch this tho? This episode only worth watching for the summary because its actually ... explain the event very good. But again, there's literally zero reason to watch the summary, just rewatch the whole anime.

The second half of the anime, the supposed continuity of the original show is very confusing, at least it is to me. Sure they give us some more explanation and ?closure?. Its all still very vague and confusing, or maybe its because I lack critical thinking. Sometimes I just don't catch every metaphor they throw on every sentence. Beside from the horrendous story telling, all the other part of the episode is actually good. Art and animation still maintain the quality of the original show, seiyuu is top notch too, I don't have complain for them. Really enjoy the summary, but I don't think the second half put any coherent ending at all.

Well, it is a very very short story, only 5 minutes long. But it is worth a watch if you are a fan of this franchise. Exploring the barely touched parts of the main story, which is Yuuta past life as a Chuunibyou. Though I think this OVA doesn't do enough justice because I need more of these. What do you mean we only get 5 minutes of Yuuta being Chuunibyou. I mean, we can see him pretending to be Chuunibyou again sometimes in the main anime, but honestly speaking, I want to see his whole story just like how they explore Nibutani past life ... too. Also its been a while since I watch this franchise, so this is a good kickstarter for me to continue watching the movie.

‎This anime tell a story about assaults attack that happen, which may or may not be connected. We follow the story of a pair of detectives solving the case. And as the story goes deeper, the case also get weirder. You can say that its more or less like a murder mystery. Will make you glued to the screen just to never miss any clue details, just so you can also try to solve the case with the detectives, had such a fun time doing that as a fan of Sherlock's franchise. Though sadly my interest is dropped massively when I realize it have supranatural ... elements to it. I mean it say so on the genre, but I'm expecting it won't play a big part on the case. Because at the end, the murder mystery just say "Well it's all just a monster hahahaha". Either that, or my lack of understanding symbolism in fiction makes me think so.

‎First half of the anime is actually very good like I said above with the murder mystery and all. But then the second half came. We just suddenly see random person story that involve our main villain without really giving out new information. Though, it is a really cool segment before we go back to focusing on the main protagonist. I love it when a piece of fiction doesn't have main characters and everyone is on the same hierarchy. But not like this, because before the random people story episode, we actually have a full fledged protagonist, and abandoning him just to postpone the viewer to catch up on what's actually happening is frustrating.

‎Not really a fan of the early anime art style where they depict people to look aa realistic as possible. What I can say for sure though, said art style really improve the vibe of the story in some way. Because it's all about the gloomy reality we live in. Not everyone is cute, and not a single character design appeal to me, and that's great. Because to me, they all feel like a real person living in the real world. I would be wrong to objectifying real people like they're fictional characters.

‎Knew this anime from the OP alone. It magically comes up on my YouTube reccomendation homepage. Listen to it and immediately fall in love with the loud and eerie OP. Turns out it is the only song that exist from this anime. The ED doesn't have any lyrics whatsoever, but I still listen to it everytime an episode ends, I never skip it. The lyricless ED give me quiet time to really reflect and think about what has been occuring in that episode. BGM is top notch too, it always have this nostalgic feeling to it, well maybe its because the anime itself is very old.

‎We get introduced to a new character every episode. Its great how they can manage to make every character relevant to one another. Really genius to make them all connected, it makes the viewer remembering less hard, and for the plot, well it make sense to have them all connected. The subplot of each character is all pretty unique in their own way even though they follow a certain theme.

‎This is an "experimental" anime that I watch. That's why this review isn't all about praising because this anime is really not my usual watch. I usually watch SoL CGDCT, so yeah... Take this review however you want. Im gonna say that it is definitely a fun watch, but is it a masterpiece? I can't say that. Sure it has deep meaning behind it, just like how American Psycho is. The problem is that I lack the skill to judge something like that in fiction. I rate that film 4/10 because I take everything at face value. That's all I can say, thank you for reading my review :)

There are not really much going on except the fact that it is a new content to consume. Consist of 7 episode of 3 minute gag. The theme of the episode itself is determined on the start of every episode. What I really love the most is they often break the 4th wall and became concious of their role in this short gag. Like how Lucoa realize she exist for the fan service part of the anime. Its all a fun watch honestly because the character feels more like a friend telling us jokes rather than some random cute anime girls on screen. That, or ... I just have a bias toward them. But should you watch this? Yes, definetely yes if you love certain characters. Because you get to see more of their silly act.
