"I wanted to try this manga a long time ago after I saw a video on YouTube named 'Adam vs Zeus.' At first, I thought it was a boring fighting manga without any proper character development or aura, but it is really good! I love the characters, especially Adam and Jack! The Jack vs Hercules battle was so awesome, full of emotion, and the action was really good! I want to say that when I first saw this manga's version of Zeus, I was disappointed, but I was wrong! Zeus is one of the most interesting characters in this manga! Adam vs Zeus was the
...
main reason I started reading this, and I was not disappointed. The story is fine, but if you love action, history, myth, gods, awesome characters, and awesome battles, then it's for you!"

Just finished this manga.
It was really good I enjoyed it a lot! It has some shounen manga vibes that I love!
I really liked this story, but for me, there wasn't enough drama... I mean seishi really did a good job on this but had problems with emotional scenes and with epic too... I gave it 8, but honestly, I think It's 8,5. why not 9? I wrote that below
[SPOILERS]
The only disappointment was the final fight with Moki, the Final boss, and the final fight, it ended in an instant... yeah final boss was somehow satan, but still, I wanted more action and more epic
...
and emotional moments! ofc final moments when Jim met everyone in his mind and defeated satan was very very good and emotional, but still, something is wrong for me, still not enough IDK if it's just me...
[END OF SPOILERS]
Although the manga is really good! very good story and rememberable characters that will fall in your heart
I will remember this manga. I really loved the characters and etc...
It deserves ANIME! make it happen! I recommend this manga to everyone who loves the shonen genre! especially if you love naruto alike shounens...

I read some of the reviews, and I honestly don’t get how someone can hate this manga. You all just don’t understand the latest chapters, the message from the author, and its philosophy. To be honest, I was going to give this manga a 9, but the ending made it a 10 for me. Everyone is upset with the ending, but why hate something you don’t understand? Shamo doesn’t deserve a score below 7 or 8, It's my personal opinion. Everyone has their own, but when people just say “it’s bad,” it honestly makes me mad.
People who keep saying Shamo has no psychological meaning or
...
philosophy, and that it’s just a stupid story with no development, I really have nothing to say to them. I just feel sorry because you don’t understand it and probably won’t be able to understand Shamo’s philosophy.
The ending was truly a masterpiece. I didn’t just read it, I felt every moment. The latest chapters really hit me, and they honestly blew my mind. People who laugh at Shamo and even at reviews like mine are usually the ones who hate things they don’t understand. It’s kind of like with Monster, Urasawa Naoki’s other masterpiece. Some people laughed at Monster too because they didn’t get the point or “who the monster was.” Anyway, I know everyone has their own opinion, so I’ll calm down now.
I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just share my experience.
At first, when I read the first chapter, I was like, “WTF is this?” I was around 14 back then, and I didn’t really understand the art or the vibe, so I didn’t like it much. But after about 6 to 7 chapters, I completely changed my mind and started to really enjoy it.
It starts with a young boy who killed his parents and ends up in juvenile prison. He’s very passive and can’t fight or defend himself, so everyone beats him. But one day, when a prisoner tries to force him to do something, yeah, I won’t say it here :d
That’s when he finally stands up for himself. (SPOILER ALERT) He ends up killing that prisoner, and from that point on, he changes a lot. You can barely recognize him anymore. At some point, you even start to hate him, but it’s too early for that, because both the story and his character keep developing with every chapter.
This is a MASTERPIECE, seriously. Give it a try if you want, and don’t just rely on hate reviews. If you think it’s bad, check it yourself and decide on your own.

word's can't describe how much I love Ashita No Joe. I completed it in 2015, but I want to write a Review right now idk why haha.
Manga that inspired many mangakas, created the epic era, Joe yabuki who inspired Kamina from Gurren Laggan, Joseph joestar from Jojo, sendo from Hajime no Ippo even whole rocky franchise! and there's even more! Manga is really great, one of the best of the bests... It needs more attention! if you love Tragic, drama, boxing, a slice of life, and want to FEEL manga, then it's for you.
Joe Yabuki meets Tange danpei, a retired boxer, and trainer, who became
...
a vagabond, alcoholic old man, and after Joe meets Tange his life changes, tange tells joe that he has great potential to become the greatest boxer! tells him that Joe is tanges "Tomorrow" Firstly joe won't accept, he is an aggressive, jerk boy who doesn't give a F*** about anything, a vagabond who has no home, no friends no one in his life. Ashita no Joe is a masterpiece, story development is just extremely good, Joe as a character develops so much you can't even recognize him... I really love this series. you should give it try.
(SPOILERS)
this manga is the 1960's, the first manga where was shown the death of the main characters, the first manga where was shown reality, first manga with a serious, dramatic, tragic, and powerful story.
Chiba Tetsuya himself told in an interview that fans were crying over his house and yelling why you killed rikiishi? why did you do that? he was talking about how much that situation made him think and had responsibility for this story and felt that it wasn't just a manga and people just weren't reading it, they... WE were feeling it.
Manga is great, in anime some scenes are changed, especially the fight with Carlos and Carlos hair design too, but I have to say one thing if you love manga, anime you should read Ashita no joe, a LEGEND, the manga that created ERA and inspired many many of greatest mangakas. it was written in the Disney era, that's why the first 50 chapters seem like a Disney comic, but after that art develops and it becomes even greater!

This manga had one of the best starts, escape arc was just fire. I liked this manga the way it was going. I'll say that I am a BIG fan of drama, especially drama endings... why? cos drama endings are just full of emotions, nostalgia, memories, the feelings, and makes u remember everything from the start of the manga what happened, the characters, their feelings, story, etc.
(spoilers)
but I'll admit this one was not just a drama ending, it was a little DARK ending.
Imagine if they never met Emma in the last chapters, that would have been at the darkest and a BAD ending.
...
at least they got to meet Emma and was something positive in the end...
I enjoyed manga myself, Idk why people hate it. everything was great, Emma was a little annoying character, but in the latest chapters, I understand her and liked a little. the ending was very very emotional, love this kind of endings.
the author knows how to start and how to end the story properly.
I enjoyed this manga... it was GREAT.

This webtoon/manhwa is very good, I really didn't wanted to try any of webtoon I thought that "how can this be good" Idk why but I thought like that, this manhwa changed my opinion about webtoon and I'm really enjoying this story.
Mori Jin is Goku + Luffy alike character, dumb, fun, energetic. The most I like in this manhwa is that every character has it's own story and purposes, the author doing it very well, and fight scenes is just bomb just like in dragon ball not "alike" fights but really exciting, I don't want to spoil too much so everyone should try this
...
manhwa, after 70+ chapters it already became one of my favorites, I can't even feel how time flies when I'm reading this manhwa, It is way too much enjoyable
