Ctrl+Alt+Resign isn’t about action or fantasy it’s about reality, the kind that quietly eats you from the inside. It’s the story of burnout, of losing your spark in a system that demands everything and gives nothing back.
The art is simple but expressive not flashy, just real. Every panel feels like a mirror for anyone who’s ever stared at their desk wondering what went wrong.

The main character isn’t a hero. He’s just... human. Tired, disappointed, but still holding onto something fragile hope.
This manhwa doesn’t scream its message; it whispers it, and somehow that hurts more.

If you’ve ever felt drained by a ... job or trapped in routine, this one will hit home hard.

Korean Manhwas have been on a hot streak with Isekai, magic, live streaming, and so on? However the most interesting stories are the ones which focus on real life.

The MC is a fairly skilled free lancer who landed a crappy job but he got no choice, cause that's the reality of life. The same can be said for the other female MC (on the cover), who is lowkey seeking to work anywhere else but the startup. They are polar opposites in personalities, the guy is a low profile who has no social interests. The girl seems to be confident and brimming with emotional intelligence.

What is ... the story? Well just the two of them interacting while the MC is navigating through the cold working world.

With that said, Job Log isn't the most exciting or epic take? There are several parts where it's...over exaggerated and I find myself scoffing at how odd it could be at moments. Despite this aspect, it's a really good realistic, down to earth take on

" what is life like entering the workforce "

Cause for a lot of people including myself, the first job always tends to be the crappiest

To be honest, I’m pretty disappointed with the pacing of this series. While the author clearly has real-world experience working in an office and the corporate relatability is probably the strongest part of the plot. the character development feels stiff.
The MC is definitely relatable for introverts, but he lacks a certain "human" spark. He thinks so logically that he feels almost robotic; nobody in the real world calculates every single social interaction that deeply. Because of this, even the "fun" segments, like the office parties, feel more like a chore to read through than actual plot progression.

If you're here for the romance, you might want ... to lower your expectations. We’re deep into the story and there is a serious lack of "sweet" moments. I read romance for the cute panels like hand-holding, heartfelt confessions, or just genuine chemistry—but we barely get any of that here. It feels like the "office" part of the story is completely overshadowing the "romance" part.

It’s a great depiction of modern work culture, but as a romance manhwa? It’s lacking the soul and the "fluff" that makes the genre enjoyable.
