I was pleasantly surprised by how wholesome this manga was!
The story seemed like it was gonna go the same way most modern shoujo mangas have been lately when the male leads fall so early on, but there was much more emotional depth and realism (albeit romanticized) than I originally expected! The concept was similar to some other mangas (e.g. Lovesick Ellie) but had its own unique take. The characters were well-rounded and all grew in a way that made sense for their arcs while still keeping the lighthearted tone. The emotional moments were still sweet and felt genuine.
A great lighthearted but still emotionally ... fulfilling quick read! You'll love it!

Adorably funny and heart-warming. Girls like Nana are hard to find. She's not shy, she's just easy. She's a hopeless romantic but doesn't hide what she's feeling. Nana is honest, natural, kind, assertive and ab-so-lute-ly cute. She has become one of my best female characters. I spent half the time smiling while I was reading it.

Also, her relationship with Sudaka it's everything to me. The plot doesn't focus on how they fell in love and try to confess, but rather on how they manage their feelings once they alreade become a couple. Their love learning process is sweet, realistic and full of tenderness. I ... really like how Nana wants everyone to know the real Sudaka, and how he's so sweet, respectful and always does everything for her.

What's more, I don't usually like the combination of comedy and romance, but in this story is handled so acceptable. In fact, I laughed a lot. Also, the drawings helped, her "pickled plum faces" are too funny.

I really enjoy it, and, if you're looking for something sweet, fluffy and heart-warming, this is the story for you.

Honestly, there's nothing to add to the compliments to Nana and Sudaka as main couple. Yes, they're precious, wholesome and an absolute gold mine of romance that's so hard to find in most shoujo romances. This manga is short but everything works in its favor. So yes, give it a shot! Don't be afraid! That being said, you will have that immediate "oh no" feeling when the 2nd ML appears... and that's what I want to touch upon (no spoilers)!
Shouya Kida is an ANGEL. You'll get scared but rest assured, you don't need to sweat it. He's now my favorite 2nd ML just bc he ... doesn't create unnecessary drama and is well aware of the circumstances, having a little arc of his own that really important and showcases one of the story themes of friendship. I'm so glad that the author didn't made him suffer without reason bc that kind of drama in such a short manga would feel rushed and pointless. Kida's presence isn't pointless. Rather it is an interesting parallel to Sudaka himself in some aspects.

And that's it. Please, give this sweet manga a shot! You won't regret it <3
