I'm very unfamiliar with Supergirl, but after seeing the German trailer a couple of times—it's a long conversation—it seemed like something akin to Guardians of the Galaxy in spirit. Were people expecting a more classic "Superman in a skirt" look?

Well, I like the style of his films in general, but the second Suicide Squad left me with mixed feelings, as I think I'm too old for such postmodern black comedies. But as far as I understand, Superman is closer in spirit to the Marvel films of the 2000s?

I see. I've always read quite a lot and quickly, even being on par with the top students in my class for reading speed, but I think that was primarily because I had a lot of experience reading for a variety of reasons in general. What's interesting is that at my age this is already detrimental, because I read so quickly that my brain has become accustomed to shortening phrases or skipping over certain words, since the human mind doesn't so much read the entire word as quickly analyze it by the first syllables, as scientists have shown. As a result, if a word is easily confused with another, I may initially misread it due to the similar first syllables.

Did your parents also collect books in some kind of home library?

Each movie adds about 20-30 minutes overall, but it's all scattered throughout the length in the form of new little scenes or expansions of old ones.
