6.41 The sense of the world must lie outside the world. In the world everything is as it is and happens as it does happen. In it there is no value – and if there were, it would be of no value.
If there is a value which is of value, it must lie outside all happening and being-so. For all happening and being-so is accidental.
What makes it accidental cannot lie in the world, for otherwise this would again be accidental.
It must lie outside the world.

Yea, its an rpg-like isekai. It has a unique vibe to it and I love it. It has everything. It is brutal and ruthless but at the same time lovely and funny. You are rooting for a anti-hero and its faction view humans like ants and pigs. They invade other countries and farm on their enemies, torturing them and using their skin to create magical scrolls and things like that. Tricking, liying and killing. But on the other hand they are treating the invaded factions generously aswell, trying to create a world where everyone is equal and all live together. Ainz is the leader of them all and he is the reincarnated human. He has no idea what to do and how to lead a whole country but for some reason his NPCs are so loyal to him no matter what happens they always think its Ainz's great plan and everyhing is happening because he wants it to. They see him as a good which makes it so funny aswell in my eyes. Surely can recommend giving the light novel a try. I look forward to every new translated book. Next one is releasing in a few days thankfully.
And no worries, answer when you can. I work as an accountant and feels like I run the whole company. Is there something or a job you want to do in the future?
Selling Overlord to you? Haha, Im not going to do that, I can just tell you why I like it a lot. Its a isekai story but I like it. Usually isekai is kinda overused and not so interessting anymore. But this one is pretty nice. The main character of the story is a video gamer ruling over a guild with lots of NPCs. But it happens that one day his video game became reality and all of the once silent and dense NPCs became real individuals who admire their ruler. So a normal average dude all of a sudden becomes the ruler of a nation and needs to discover whats going on. He eventually decides to make his small nation grow to spread his name in search for other former videogamers and past members of his guild, also trying to find out why a video game became reality all of a sudden.
Its funny because he is an undead and all of his NPCs are monsters. So he is kinda like an anti hero. He wants to rule over the world for the sake of his NPCs he admires a lot. They are no simple NPCs, all of these NPCs are created by a player, so they all have their own backstory, design and personality. It just resonates with me a lot because I am a former roleplayer and I have designed original characters myself, paying artists to draw those characters for me and they are still something dear to me even though its a thing of the past. Having your designed characters come to life is a wonderfull thing, so no wonder the main character likes and protects his NPCs.
So thats basically what this is about. The story lives from the interaction of the ruler and all of his NPCs who he loves and wants to protect in this unknown new world which was once a video-game-world but became reality. The characters are all unique and are insanely loyal to their ruler but the ruler is actually just a simple average dude who has no idea how to act as a real ruler. This often leads to funny moments and misunderstandings, the ruler actually doing something dumb but the NPCs perceive it as a highly intelligent move and admire their ruler even more. Its just funny, I love it a lot and I look forward to the new books.
Also yes, I am from germany. There is not much to talk, I am just a depressed office worker, besides working and reading manga or books I dont do a lot aside from it. What about you? I remember you where much younger than me and from canada, right? How are things for you out there?
As for me, I dont watch a lot of Anime anymore, I take it slow and watch something after its finished airing instead of watching multiple airing shows at the same time. There is nothing that had a big impact on my life for sure, I dont even know if something like that exists. But what does have an impact on me in some way is Manga since reading manga and books became my favourite hobby since like 2-3 years.
I have read some nice stuff here and there and my physical collection is growing since I only read physical manga. Im a fan of the light novel Overlord. So yea, I continue to read and collect mangas and looking forward to discover more. Its surely my favourite hobby and I put a lot of my free time into it so it does impact my live in some way since its my light at the end of the tunnel and a good way for me to relax.
What about you?
I finished Monogatari, I watched everything thats available. But Monogatari is nothing for me for sure. It is to mythical, not easy to grasp and mysterious. That makes it hard to understand which is probably the aim of it. I prefer simpler stories for sure. But the characters are nice and it has funny moments. So overall its good but nowhere near to be "peak" in my eyes.
I watched also the latest season, it was nice but it doesnt have a lot of Hitagi in it which was disappointing since she is everyones favourite gf and my favourite of the gals.
Celebrating in America again this time?
Yes, its wonderfull she is changing and becoming a better person. She is surely a mess and pretty complicated. But since I am a mess myself irl I can somehow identify and understand her. At least I assume thats the case haha. She definitly grew, that was a great ending of her arc for sure.
And that opening is great, such a nice song. But then again I am pretty sure all of the monogatari openings until now are very good lol. I also like the ending of season 2 a lot. Catchy song. I want to sing along but unfortunately I cant speak japanese haha.
The first ep tells the back story of Kaguya/Eirin and the Lunar invasion and everything is entirely original.
Kanbaru, yes, thats her name. She is funny, I am looking forward to see her ark hehe. I wonder what happens next now that Hanekawas ark is complete. But was a very nice ark I must say. 8/10.
But hey, the first episodes of season two are pretty nice. Will go on watch the next two episodes. And maybe Hanekawa makes some nice character developement. But as I said, I dont hate her, she is just the least liked one of all the girls to me.
Also why do all the girls have short hair now? Lol. At least the basketball girl has long hair now :D I also like her a lot, she is so funny. Probably a nice person to hang around with and go on adventures.
