Tbh I'm always out here talking about "ideas" and other nonsense, like "if I do this, I'll get back into anime!" and whatever else for other mediums. It rarely actually comes to fruition, it's just my grim attempts to find a passion & happiness again, like I had for various things over the years until nothing worked anymore from 2024 onwards.
If you ever see rambling from me about "Huh, I can get into anime and watch a few episodes of different series a week" and other nonsense, ignore it. I don't deserve the replies.

Summer anime shows this season my top three:1. Ghost in the Shell, love remake. 2.Clevatess Season 2, 3.Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Season.
My favorite anime show all times Ranma 1/2. I watch Ranma 2024 remake, season 3 comes out this year October 3, 2026, never had a chance to watch classic Ranma.
I definitely want to watch **Stand Alone Complex** at some point as well. 😄 It's one of those series I've heard people praise for years, so I feel like I should start there before diving too deeply into the newer adaptations.
And thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check out **Magnolian**. 😄 I always enjoy finding artists from different countries, especially when they have a style that's a little different from what I normally listen to.
I'm still wrapping up a few Spring shows before I properly jump into Summer, but **Jaadugar** is probably the one I'm most excited to start. Hopefully it lives up to all the praise it's been getting. 😂
It's always fun when a season has that one show that quietly builds a fanbase over time instead of exploding in popularity right away. Those are usually the ones that end up sticking with me the longest.
HAHA no worries at all. 😭 I think a lot of us use MAL like that. Sometimes I'll log everything I'm watching and then realize I haven't checked my messages in over a week. 😂
And yeah, that's exactly why I prefer binging too. 😄 I feel like I stay so much more invested when I can watch at my own pace. With weekly releases, it's easy for discussions to completely shift after each episode, or for life to get busy and suddenly you're three weeks behind. By that point I usually end up waiting for the rest of the season anyway. 😭
**Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia** is definitely one I'm looking forward to. Even outside of the story itself, the historical setting is something we almost never get in anime, so it already feels pretty unique. 😂 That's actually funny timing that you've been listening to Mongolian music too—it might end up making the atmosphere hit even harder.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you for Summer, honestly. 😄 I'm still finishing up a few Spring shows, so I haven't fully jumped into everything yet. Once I catch up, I'm planning to check out **Jaadugar**, **The Ghost in the Shell**, **BLEACH**, and keep up with **Re**. Other than those, I'm mostly going in blind and hoping I stumble across a surprise favorite.
It's always nice when a season has one of those completely unexpected shows that nobody talks about at first, and then by the end everyone is wondering how they almost skipped it. 😂 Those are usually the ones I end up remembering the most.
Who's the Mongolian artist you've been listening to, by the way? I'm always looking for new music, so now you've got me curious. 😄
Honestly, I think this season has a pretty fun mix! 😄 A lot of people have been talking about **Jaduugar** already, and I've had multiple people recommend it to me, so that's probably climbed to the top of my list. I'm also looking forward to **Ghost in the Shell**, **Re:Zero**, and of course **Bleach** whenever that gets going.
I'm actually a little weird with how I watch anime though. 😂 I usually don't keep up with many week-to-week. I tend to let shows finish airing and then binge them all at once. I find I enjoy them a lot more that way, and I don't forget little details between episodes.
If you're thinking about getting back into seasonals after all these years, I'd honestly just pick one or two that really catch your eye instead of trying to follow everything. 😭 It's way less overwhelming, and if one of them ends up being amazing, it's a nice way to get back into the habit.
Have there been any shows this season that looked interesting to you, or are you going in completely blind? 😄
