The issue with FMPs fanservice isn't necessary that it exists, it's how it is in context to the rest of the show. i still think the fanservice in girls und panzer is bad, but it's a silly light hearted ahow which pretty much entirely takes itself that way. FMP is a show that seems to simultaneously want you to think its serious about war, but its also doing constant creepy jokes about teens. besides, there's only so much I'm willing to overlook. if the fanservice was the only issue with FMP, i wouldn't have that much of an issue with the show, it'd be a good show with one pretty bad part of it, but now it's just one among many of its bad qualities, and it has very few good ones.

Okay, and? That's your interpretation of the story. Just because you say that's what the anime is about doesn't mean everyone who watched it will agree with you. You can't just claim this and that and call my interpretation the "tourist" review just because it doesn't align with how you interpreted the show. I disagree with some of the aspects you pointed out, but not because you are wrong, in fact, I think you've described Gantz in a simple, yet reductionist manner that certainly leaves out the nuances of the series but is still correct. Gantz is an old manga, rooted in the early 2000s, written by and for a generation that grew up watching Hollywood action movies and blockbusters from the 80's and 90's, where violence with high-action was the selling point, and the male leads were bulked-up macho-men that had women as accessories to show off their libido. At that time, violence and "being edgy" was being formed into what we now know as "dark comedy", somehow violence was the punchline, but this doesn't represent my views or my values.
I will be honest, I started reading Gantz in 2009 and it has been about 12 years since I finished and I haven't revisited it, so I am unsure about the "racist" content, I can only think of the shooting-in-broad-daylight scene with the blackface, but I don't remember as many details so I can't really name specifics about this manga.
Gantz does indeed have a crude writing that objectifies women with detailed horny drawings that pander to the average gooner. It is edgy, gory, with some characters deserving a punch in the mouth, yet I've met people with all these qualities you mentioned who unironically are pieces of shit, so I am confident in defending Gantz's characters behavior because they're not role models, and it is shown multiple times that it's just regular people being "revived" and sent out to missions. A sick rando in a hospital, a kid that died because their parents abused him, a grandma that died in an accident.
Judging an old piece of media is certainly unfair, it's like saying Dragon Ball is misogynistic because Roshi was a weirdo sexually harassing all the female cast, because it is true and somehow its cultural impact was worse than Gantz because Roshi became a character archetype that infected countless other series (Naruto, BNHA, Bleach, the list is too long), but I still like and appreciate Dragon Ball, and I like Roshi as a character despite his brutal flaw.
If I were to judge you as a person based on what you said, I think you are either ignoring or in denial of the fact that the average human is uneducated. Those outside your social circle are regular pieces of shit and the sexism, racism, inelegance and homophobia is the standard for the average Joe, it's their "normal". Maybe even those within your circle are only showing you the mask that better suits to you. You've used social media before and you've probably read disgusting comments by disgusting people. They're not faking it, they're the most genuine pieces of shit, and that's why Gantz disgusts you.
I played some of Berseria simply because I liked that Velvet character, because only two episodes of her weren't enough. I didn't really liked the combat system and it was a real turnoff for me.
