Also, do I know you from anidb? 🤔
My notes so far; Lovely ambiance, good choice of imagery, enjoyed the slight change of clothing and the quiet moments, food, coffee wine. Nice choice to not include blood makes the killing scenes more relaxing. Sadly a show that could of been a lot shorter, lacking a interesting plot and lacklustre mystery. Along with dull characters. Its a shame.
My favourite isekai, The Lord of Mysteries (Guimi Zhi Zhu: Xiaochou Pian), has stunning artwork and great sound effects. The power system, world-building, and lore are fascinating, and it encouraged me to read the web novel. All 8 volumes and 1,394 chapters in total, not including the side stories.
The story can seem messy, and many viewers appeared confused, but I very much enjoyed it! Yes, the main character may have a small advantage, but he remains genuinely quite weak throughout the entirety of season one. It is of course easy to tell that he will eventually progress to a very powerful level, but it takes a very long time to get there.
Also I very likeable main character.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts, as I enjoy a critical perspective on things I like. It may not seem like your style, but you might be surprised!
It holds strong tropes I've seen countless times in villainess anime/manhwa, which isn't in itself an issue as many people love the genre for those recurring acts/events/character traits, but I find rather tiresome. Again, perhaps if it was my first time seeing these in storytelling maybe I would enjoy the show more.
I have a weakness for isekai, villainess and reborn stories, so I'll always seek them out at some point. Honestly, I dislike more of them than I like but find them easy watches generally, with not much thinking involved.
I don't write reviews for a reason haha. I'm bad at explaining my feelings, especially if the show isn't fresh on my mind.

Hard agree on the relationship point, not many shows that focus on a already established couples!
I think you might find Kanashimi no Belladonna an interesting watch by the way if you have not seen it yet.
For Monster, I watched it at a very young age. I liked the setting, the value placed on choice, and strangely I liked the art style. I believe I was very engrossed in the story at the time and loved the ending. Again, it is hard to say every reason I loved the show as I tend not to re-watch things, but it left a very positive impression on me. I also think I enjoy a good villain.
Shinsekai Yori is another interesting one. It was a first in a lot of storytelling for me at the time. I found questions I had asked at the start had simply been forgotten, only to be answered right at the end. Squealer " Yakomaru", and his injustice spoke to me so much. The debate around control and society, the inclusion of same-sex relationships, as well as the mysteries and disappearances, pulled me in.
Again, would I enjoy them as much many years later? Perhaps, perhaps not. But they left huge impressions on me and were a joy to watch. If I had watched them more recently perhaps I could give you a more satisfying answer. I rate shows a lot harsher now and I tend to factor in a lot more into the score. I also do tend to force myself to finish bad shows haha. (Mean Score: 5.93)
Also I don't judge people tastes, only in jokey ways. I think any reason to love or hate a show is valid in its own way. I loved high school of the dead and that's trash!
Arjuna is the only show you enjoyed that I really disliked, I found it preachy and boring haha. I wish I had the power to drop shows like you but I am compelled to finish them.
I also hated - Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii deshou ka
Twelve Kingdoms was also a beautiful show with interesting characters, It did take me time to get sucked into the show but once I did I loved it. Really enjoyed the main characters growth(Somewhat disliked her at the start but came to like her a lot), sad it will never be finished. The world was interesting and lore had me locked in.
Ristorante Paradiso had me wanting to drink red wine heavily haha; I will 100% look at Natsume other work. The show was so relaxing, I can't put my finger on why I loved it so much, the movement of the animation pleased me.
I didn't find you through reviews but I'll have a look now and judge you :)
