The future is terrible? Are you a time traveler from the future, Mana? Jk lol
I get what you mean, currently a lot of things suck and times were better early 2000s or even last century lol
But when things feel much more futuristic in 3-10 years maybe something magical happens like 1) SAO style deep dive video games where we become our avatars / and just sleep irl or something and can live in games lol 2) all diseases get cured by asi-level technology in medicine or we can regenerate back to when our bodies were much healthier (I’ve struggled with bedrest 8-9 years and autoimmune diseases as I’ve mentioned before probably)
But recently I’ve pushed myself a lot, even a few mins outside near a tree here and there help (mentally more than physically for me). Nature is healing. If I could do life over again I would be outside much more.
The hardest thing I’ve tried is some hiking recently lol I almost passed out but it was still worth it. Just my knees/back doesn’t appreciate it lol it’s super hard finding a comfortable position for me even lying down /sitting/standing never comfortable >_< so I wanna be rebuilt into an android or am hoping future tech improves fast. Still enjoyed nature though a ton —didn’t care if I got wrecked and died in a forest just cuz yeah I like nature more than my room lmao

Ah yes Liar Game is pretty cool, I saw it many years ago and don’t remember if I finished it or how it ended so I plan to rewatch sometime for sure. Thanks for reminding me.

Current anime I like is
Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Japanese: 杖と剣のウィストリア ) second season — some parts remind me of Kingdom Hearts or a jrpg , decent world building. Prob my favorite current airing .

Next is the Tongari Boushi one “Witch Hat Atelier” nice art and environments/fighting style or magic is definitely unique lol

Yes I played a lot with that emulator back in the day, did games in Japanese language with it to help me study.
ROM hacks are cool, I enjoy watching the super Mario world ones on YouTube those are super creative and been watching them off and on many years —kaizo mario. Have you seen them?
Didn’t know about the Metroid ones, I’ll check on YouTube, seems cool.

Wah! 6 months since I last logged in and still nothing to show for it! I keep telling myself I'll login to MAL once I get back into anime. And I'll get back into anime once I finish X and Y. And I'll finish X and Y once I have some willpower...
