Honestly, I don't know anything about music or how to play anything... Well, I can theoretically play anything, just terribly, I guess. I never made much effort in music class either (the class I skipped the most in high school). I leave the knowledge and technicality all in the hands of people who actually know what to do with it. If I tried to compose anything, I probably would give birth to the spiritual successor to Baby Shark.
Oopsies, I actually meant to say "Plastic Love" but said "Stay With Me." If I remember right, the singer of "Stay With Me" is like... very much dead (so there's not much fame to be regained...) But I do prefer "Stay With Me" over "Plastic Love." I don't think I ever heard "4:00 AM" before; I don't actively listen to city pop so I can't say I know much. But I did listen to some city pop compilation on YouTube before (I do remember liking a few songs from S. Kiyotaka & Omega Tribe). "Remember the Brightness" is probably my favorite (this might already be a bit more obscure than what you've already listened to).
It doesn't take much to get Americans to throw a fit, a bit like how no one cared in the UK when John Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, but the 'Mericans made protests and burned Beatles vinyls... No doubt "Le Temps est Bon" would be called woke for promoting polyamorous relationships.
And talking about old songs that become popular because of the internet, do you know "Stay With Me"? It was an obscure city pop song, but it got popular again through the internet, and the artist (who had fallen into obscurity) regained some fame since then.
Ah yeah, "D'amour ou d'amitié", right? That's among her oldest songs, which I tend to prefer. If you want to listen to another Quebec classic (from a different artist), listen to "Le Temps est Bon". Chances are you know what song I'm already talking about, though. The song somewhat regained popularity in recent years.

Strangely enough, I recently went to an anthropological evolution exhibition. Maybe I am just the next link in the chain whose bones will be put on a display for future generations to look at one day while kids will be tapping on the glass and referring to me as some unc next to Lucy and the Australopitheci. Gahh.
I'm doing alright, though I'm not too sure how to feel about being associated with Celine in your mind. I think I briefly saw on the news that she's in France right now, but I didn't really pay much attention to it.
By the way, if there's one Québécois I should apologize to the French for, it's Mathieu Bock-Côté. If you don't know who he is, all the better. If you do know who I'm talking about... I'm sorry. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he and Meusnier are one and the same person.
If people were honest with themselves they'd admit that the "moe" style is anime at it's finest. Whimsy is what this medium does best. When anime tries to be dark and mature, it is actually edgy and dumb. I'd love it if there were more shows like Juuni Kokuki but alas.

J'ai trop aimé! Je comprends tellement comment c'est un de tes manga favoris, Deathco et Madame M sont trop attachantes et c'est si agréable à lire avec les dessins de Kaneko et son style de narration !
