Hi there. Thank you for paying a visit to my profile.
I haven't been on MAL for long, but I've been delving into anime and manga for quite a while. I first got into the medium in my mid-teens, starting with five titles that still define my tastes today: Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Serial Experiments Lain. A casual acquaintance recommended them to me; funny how a passing suggestion can echo for years.
Since then, I've been adding new titles slowly but steadily. I'm a slow watcher and reader, but most of what I experience stays with me. I don't need a long list—only works that resonate.
This explains my high ratings: I don't watch or read at random, and anything that no longer speaks to me eventually leaves my collection. What you see here is not everything I've read or watched, but my personal hall of fame; a selection of works I deeply cherish.
I really enjoy writing reviews and thinking through a work carefully. Over time, I've come to realize that experiencing a work isn't just about consuming it—it's also about spending time afterward thinking about it. Without that step, the experience feels unfinished.

It has been some time since I last watched anime for real though, a few years already, been focused on other stuff, just from time to time someone bumps a thread on some anime I left "on hold" (couldn't find online when I looked for it, but someone found it now) and I watch it, usually some avant-garde shorts... and shorts, it's hard to curate, you gotta watch and they are hit or miss.
So I'm not planning on watching any anime right now, but Psycho-Pass I loved the first season with the same intensity I hated the second :P
As for Death Note, after reading the manga I couldn't watch the anime, the anime is so dramatic, the directing kinda looks like an Indian soap opera, for him to write a name they gotta show him from 10 different camera angles with zoom shots and the camera shaking and dramatic music, it wasn't for me, the manga though pretty cool.
Planetes I watched the anime and liked it a lot, I plan to read the manga
My list size is a lie, most of it are shorts and music videos so in one afternoon I get like 20-30 new completed anime hehe
You already watched and read a lot of thing I'm planning to
