Right off the bat, the animation has clearly taken a massive upgrade compared to the past episodes. Fitting, since the story itself has gone off the rails too. Like, yeah, seeing that first scene with Nice, it’s clear why he did what he did back in episode one. Honestly, it’s wild that for a moment there, Loli was actually keeping up with Nice. I mean, I expected what happened to Ghostblade with E-Soul to happen to her instead. But oh boy, she went absolutely bananas when she came back and saw what happened to Nuonuo. And who knows what would've happened to her if it weren’t for OUR GIRLS CYAN AND QUEEN coming in to save the day. Though, a little too late, because yeah, heroes can’t save everybody, and we saw that firsthand here. A really depressing firsthand, but yeah... everything’s gone to shambles now. And then all that stuff with Zero and X, YES, X.. DUDE CAME BACK AND SWITCHED US BACK TO THE GOOD OL’ 3D AT THE END THERE... :o!! What an episode. I honestly don’t even know what to say. So much went down, and now there are only four episodes left... Let’s see what Dragon Boy’s got for us next week.

Loli lost everything because of this messed up fight... Her dad and childhood friend are dead, and her other best friend is severely injured and hospitalized. The lengths these big wigs are willing to go to keep trust and fear value on top is deplorable. Nice being a hero built off of fear and not trust adds another layer to things with him. I guess cruelty's not off the table when its what empowers you. So epic of Queen and Lucky Cyan to show up when they did. All that was awaiting the combatants was a pyrrhic victory if they kept fighting to the death like that. This conflict might have been swept under the rug, but I don't think our MCs will be forgetting about it any time soon.

What an INSANE episode, battles everywhere. Glad Queen realized that was Big Johny & was able to calm him down before he slaughtered everyone. And I guess this is the start of the spiral that led to Nice's suicide in Episode 1. What a Charlie Foxtrot, and it's all the Manager's fault. These guys are straight up evil, maybe the heros should take them out. Question though, did anyone get the stuff out of the ship in all this mayhem?

Soo...reason why Rock kill OG E-Soul (aside his future plans) was revenge against man who kill his father . It seems Johnny train very hard in this two years with Queen and Cyan in order to become #5 from #15 mascot type of hero (it seems situation where Ghost Blade was seriously injured while trying to protect Johnny, get him very hard) . Ghost Blade leave MG (maybe even reunite with his family), but still his rank become even higher . Dragon Boy it seems become a replacement for Ghost Blade for unkle Rock. Question is - he become top 3 hero in 1,5 year (like Loli become #6) or he already is a Hero, but lower in rank? . Well, Queen show herself in full beauty. Her aura farming is something else (she and Cyan make a great team). Took out all fighting heroes in one swoop...as if they are nothing. This answer the question - Queen stand by far above top 3-5 and they present no challenge to her And yep, in this situation Queen and Cyan act like true heroes . Loli lost everything...At the end her father put his trust in her and she still fail. She probably would hate herself for alll those argues with her father (when he try to protect her) and how silly she was in her childish rebel phase. Await from her character to become more darker . Also interesting relationships between Loli and Ghost Blade - he risk his life to protect Johnny and now she may find that Ghost Blade is Nou Nou father . Same with Queen. Queen inspire Loli. She was Loli Hero. And during critical moment , Queen come to save the day. Would Loli feel gratitude toward Queen (at least her best friend was saved thanks to Queen) or suspect her (in same way as Bowa) in conspiring this whole situation? . OG Nice was pathetic...i mean how he chicken away from the sight of Ghost Blade... . Now we see our Cloning villian for first time...which bring up a question - who send him?!

For someone with so little battle experience, Loli put up a good fight with Nice, I love how much she improvise with all her equipment. Queen came in and aura farmed so damn hard. So Zero was the first hero and the one that OG E-Soul killed? He wasn't an Alien!? And Rock's father was the one who started it all. Micky took the opportunity to take down Rock and Mighty Glory, and to prevent Rock's plan of resurrecting Zero. Was the death of the researchers and Loli's father a necessary sacrifice for a greater good? Or that they just want to keep the power system for their own selfish desires? Ghostblade took the fall, but for me I think him leaving the agency and his life as a hero is a good thing, if only he can reunite with his family. RIP to Professor Luo Tong, thank you for protecting Nuonuo. X is just there watching things unfold, what even does he want with all of this? That finger snap to bring it back to 3D was really cool. Next up is Dragon Boy, Rock isn't done yet.

Good fucking God, that episode did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded expectations. Like there's so much to unpack here, but I'm gonna start with the thing on top of my head. MY QUEEN! The aura farming was of the charts, Jesus Christ, that was so badass and of course along with Cyan, adorable and sweet as always. Also, Loli stocks definitely rose this episode, can't blame her for crashing out. Dad got killed, best friend is in a coma, childhood friend brutally murdered, God knows I did not expect Da Xiong going out like that, holy shit. Now we see how Loli became an official hero and joined FOMO. Damn, so is Rock trying to make Dragon Boy the new zero? I'm thinking that cause of the markings. So OG E-Soul defeated zero, then Rock made a fake E-Soul to replace the OG E-Soul and made him his bitch, that's crazy. I really hope Ghostblade gets that redemption arc, quitting MG is already the first step. Sure he was willingly doing those assassinations, but I'm sure each and everyone of those assassinations he thought was for the greater good, cause of Rock's bullshitting. So if someone deserves a redemption arc, it's him. LIN LING CRUMBS, MY GOAT! I think that's as good a confirmation as any that X is doing the 3D shift. I'm sure I forgot some other things to talk about, but next stop Dragon Boy!

I don't get it. Has everything been a flashback and NOW we're close to where episode 1 started? Fwiw I didn't like how Queen just ended everything without the tiniest shred of effort. She didn't look that powerful before and now she's super op. And I don't understand how Nice and E-Soul got away with things. Loli, Ghostblade and Little Johnny KNOW they're evil, right? Why wouldn't the continue to beat them up or at least lock them up? Expose them to the public? Super weird. Fwiw, Loli was unrealistically powerful. She had no business beating Nice like that. I hated her character from the beginning, this was too much. Not sure when Nuono got hurt so badly, we saw her and Loli's father sitting in a circle and they did NOT get hurt. I guess the father got a stab in the back, but nothing life-threatening. Him dead and Nuono badly hurt feels a bit forced. Oh well. I hope this means next episode goes back to our new Hero Nice who took over in episode 1. Time to bring back the true hero!

| Man, what a devasting outcome for Loli. The happiness she found was too good to be true*. And poor Ghostblade at the same time. For both it was shortlived hope for good futures. Queen. No one should have doubted you; me included. That was a swift end to the outdoor skirmish. And with one single snap were back to the start in a sense. | I'm writing this comment to try to understand everything that happened, hopefully someone can help me with the bits I don't get and also correct me if I'm getting something wrong. I haven't kept up with the full timeline as there are many events and characters for me to remember, but I would love to have a perfect understanding of the story. The nonlinear storytelling in this show is amazing and one of the most ambitious I've seen in a while, the rewatch value of this anime is outstanding. First off, Nice. His persona was somehow created using the power of Fear by Shang De, who started investigating it after Shang Chao's death in E-Soul's arc. Shang De knows about the investigation on the spaceship issued by the commision, which could be a step towards regulating the power of Trust Value and also of Fear. As such, he prompts Nice to wipe out the investigation team. Nice's motivations are clear: he's doing well in the rankings and becoming more popular with each passing day, but if Fear is suppresed this could all fall apart. Nice's real personality is really not nice at all, he's probably drunk with power and popularity, but that makes me think to what extent can Trust Value control the life of Heroes. We know Firm Man couldn't even crouch because his fans knew him as the man who's always standing. Lin Ling's physical appearance was modified as an effect of people believing he was Nice and he also developed an OCD. Ghostblade can't even speak because people think of him as a silent assassin. The Hero Affairs Commission. It was created to regulate Trust Value and prevent another Dawnfall. So far the only way they have to prevent someone from getting too much power is the Hero Tournament, which makes the top Hero change after a couple of years. The investigation on the spaceship could lead to a way to regulate Trust Value, as well as Fear. Now switching to Treeman and DOS. Micky knows Shang De has been investigating Fear for the past three years, so he tells him about the investigation. They also recognize this as an opportunity to crush MG meaning that it's two birds with one stone. If Trust Value is regulated then the Hero bussiness won't be the same and I also assume that they are interested in nurturing fear. With the power of Fear, Shang De was able to create the Phobiaclone (which we first saw in X's PV) and he also sent him (or them) to the investigation site. Whether Nice was aware of this or not I don't know. There's also the whole Spotlight thing with Micky but I don't quite understand (or I don't remember) his motivations or goals because they seem different from Liu Zhen's (Queen's dad) who's also deeply involved. The one thing I can't figure out is why Micky sent Queen to the spaceship (with the whole vacation excuse). He definitely knew Queen would put a stop to the fighting. Of course, in his own words, they have enough influence on the media as to tell whatever story they want after all is said and done, but Queen being there seems counterproductive to me. Finally MG. From Micky we learn that Zero, the first Hero, was created by Rock's dad, Yan Feng. After Zero accidentally killed a Hero, Fear spread and he lost control starting Dawnfall. This is a key difference between Fear and Trust Value, the latter can modify your physiology and habits but doesn't "make you go crazy". For some reason Rock wants to revive Zero, probably to take revenge for his dad who was held accountable for Zero. Now this is funny because the old E-Soul was part of MG and he was responsible for stopping Zero and saving the world. That is related to why he plotted to get rid of him with the two E-Soul's incident after taking over MG. Rock sent Ghostblade to kill Little Johnny for reasons I don't completely understand, but related to Big Johnny and why he wanted Ah Sheng dead. He also sends Yang Cheng suspecting that Ghostblade won't complete the mission. For me this means that, even though the main Hero agencies can't be called "good", MG is the "evil" organization here, with Yang Cheng living long enough to see himself become a villain. I'm not sure If I had something else to comment but oh boy the lore runs deep in this anime. It has continuously been the most entertaining thing to watch for 20 weeks straight and I can't wait to see how the last 4 episodes will go down. Right now I'm rooting for the top 10 heroes, excluding those currently in MG (we'll see about Dragon Boy next week) and hoping X can free the society from the shackles of trust. After the Ruins Incident (39 AC): - Nice saves the day fighting the "revived" Phobiaclone - The 20th Hero Tournament is cancelled, meaning that X holds his title for the third consecutive term - MG loses Ghostblade - Loli loses her dad, her childhood friend and Nuonuo is heavily injured. She's also recruited by FOMO - Queen (and possibly Cyan) rises in popularity even further. - Big Johnny becomes a rival or nemesis (?) for E-Soul. Not sure if anyone can translate the magazine cover at 22:14. - X is still the goat and his plans are unknown. Is he related to MG and Zero in some way? We have the bit at 23:14 and in the opening we have the frame where he overlaps with Zero and he's also something the commission fears, a hero that's gathering too much power. |

SO MUCH FELL INTO PLACE!
Weird that this felt like a season ending episode. I can't see how they'll wrap things up adequately in the next 4 episodes.
Queen is aptly name. My girl tapped her cane and BAM! I kind of felt sorry for Nice in the first set of episodes. I maybe felt a little sorry for E Soul, but not ny more. They were straight murderers. The only person I feel sorry for now is Luo LI. She couldn't save her dad or her best friend. And her new friend is in the hospital.

Pure fucking cinema oh my goodness, top 5 episode of TBHX overall and one of the best of any show this season. Roller coaster of emotions from sheer excitement and hype during Luoli v Nice to utter dejection and heartbreak with the big death and then more elation when Queen and Cyan showed up 😭 this had everything and now it feels like the prologue of TBHX is over and the real story can get going since we have all the heroes and see how everything connects together. Luoli vs Nice was fucking incredible man. The storyboarding and direction was stellar there, also love how they showed some of the cool possibilities Luoli’s armor has. For this to be like her 2nd big fight, she held her own very well against a top ranked hero who was hell bent on killing her. Ghostblade vs E-Soul was short but great as well. Thanks to Little Johnny Ghostblade survived, but I really thought he was gonna be a goner. The fact little Johnny still doesn’t know it was Ghostblade who killed his dad and is saving his life consistently is such a painful twist of fate 😢 NOO NOT PROFESSOR LUO?!! Right in front of Luoli?!! Come tf on man. Luoli’s scream after seeing her dad get killed was so visceral and primal. You could quite literally feel the mix of fear, anger and sadness. Incredible job from Sakura Ayane, one of her best performances. The fact Luoli was ready to just die, no armour or nothing and charging Nice shows you how broken she was. Queen aura farming as she shows up 🤣 serving face while breaking up a battle royale, hello??! Also Cyan my beloved! Her abilities have come so far since we first met her. Really cool application of her lucky power. I still hate seeing how soulless and hurt Queen looks tho. Ok so now we’re basically up to present day unless I’ve missed something. It looks like next week we’ll finally get X’s backstory so I’m hype for that. One episode of this a week just ain’t enough. Ngl I hope we stay 2D tho because I’m not a fan of the 3D stuff even tho it’s good lol

@MyllerPhiem bro forgot what is her suit is made of Basically all of Nice punches and kicks were infused with either fear/trust, and while her suit protect her from said 'buff', the actual damage she received were just a stronger mere human punch and kick (yea i said this because, Nice still do some workout to his body). "But she's still get thrown away multiple times right?" Physics mate, it is the shockwave of the attack which actually do the most damage to her. I've said that she received the normal damage, but since the power Nice had were at top 20 rank, which is already very strong (and he has "Perfection" power from trust, so i can assume he could do literally everything a hero expected to do on this universe), shortly he's a superman of this franchise. Imagine how strong is the shockwave from the attack that built up just right before the impact to Loli's suit. Its stupidly strong! Yea its kinda made some illusion that Loli were THAT strong, while actually nope, she just tanked all the damage, basically nullifies every trust/fear damage she received but not with the physical and after-impact effect (since said shockwave were physic-based not fear/trust-based phenomenon). The same concept applied for her attack towards Nice, which is why he's struggling so much against an inexperienced like her.

After the Ruins Incident (39 AC):
- Nice saves the day fighting the "revived" Phobiaclone
- The 20th Hero Tournament is cancelled, meaning that X holds his title for the third consecutive term
- MG loses Ghostblade
- Loli loses her dad, her childhood friend and Nuonuo is heavily injured. She's also recruited by FOMO
- Queen (and possibly Cyan) rises in popularity even further.

@MyllerPhiem You have definitely lost yourself in the story, given your complaints, they have literally been telling us what moment in history we are in, and a power system in which one is far superior to others was never specified. We had not seen Nice in action, assuming that she was superior to Loli is already a mental thing. Queen simply wasted all her potential in her arc given her power, they did not show it better said, here it already gives coherence to what she is capable of and why her nickname, and she is someone who in your fight is number 1 to X, it is not "strange", the one who beat her was X, it is not that she was "weak", Queen simply farmed aura on her arrival and X too.

Holy shit, what a payoff! The whole fight absolutely kicked ass, Loli was awesome this episode, and Queen was farming massive aura with that display of her powers near the end. RIP to Loli's dad and her friend, and now poor Nuonuo's stuck in a coma...

@LG545 Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. So he needed Queen getting there just at the right moment to stop the fighting and get more popularity, but when the damage to the investigation was already done.

In the end, all of them just wanted to stop the research on the Alien tech to prevent fear from being controlled. It must have been too much for Nice to return to normal after everything that he has done. And Loli lost her father and Nuo Nuo in hospital making Ghostblade leave MG. And X bringing things to 3D towards the end 😭❤️🔥❤️🔥 |

@Niwaka-Samurai Seems a bit odd to me that Micky and Shand, even knowing about Rock's secret connection to Zero, decide they'll ruin Rock by attacking the excavation when Rock's already trying to do that. Guess there's nothing saying Micky can't misunderstand Rock's priorities, or maybe it's that Rock would have spun it as Ghostblade's heroic sacrifice without the interference, but I feel like I'm missing something.

@Niwaka-Samurai Shang De (Treeman's CEO) sent him. We saw him in the last episode (I think) staring at a purple tank with the "Fear" Phobiaclone inside. Apparently the original Phobiaclone used to be X from what I read in the timeline
