As someone who has read Bleach from the beginning till the end of the Fullbringer arc and started TYBW from the anime adaptation, I'm curious about your thoughts with the manga being PRETTY MUCH non-canon considering the latest episode we just got.

It's cannon. (I believe Kubo himself directed this episode.)

Kubo was rushed by shounen jump during the final chapters so we really didn't saw Ichigo's Bankai in the manga and why Yhwach was so afraid of what he saw in the future.

I think this episode is what Yhwach saw. Next episode will be the continuation of where they were before Ichigo activated his Bankai.

I love the changes in the TYBW anime adaptation!

I completed Bleach manga, so I can confidently say my opinion is based. I prefer the story when anime is very faithful to the manga but Bleach is a special case. Studio Pierrot Films is doing an amazing job, and also Kubo is the person who is changing the story. That is the reason why I'm 100% ok even with these very noticeable changes.

It’s just a dumb fake out death lol, next episode will pick up right where the manga would be. People are blowing this way out of proportion and getting overly sensational and emotional about this because they’re wowed by all the supposed changes instead of seeing it for what it is. We already know how this whole thing is going to end, the same terrible way the manga did. Nothing this one episode showed is going to change that. 5 episodes left, it’ll be zangetsu broken, Ichigo sad, yhwach taking haschwalth and Gerard powers, yhwach leaving, fullbringers showing up to fix zangetsu, Aizen coming in to help Ichigo fight yhwach, Uryu getting silver arrow etc.

Also I hate the excuse that jump and Shueisha rushed kubo. The final arc is 20 volumes long. Hell there’s absolutely no narrative transition between Fullbring and tybw at all, which was years before jump supposedly rushed kubo. He’s just a bad writer and wasn’t able to tell a story in the four years he had to wrap up things, choosing to waste time on alphabet soup antagonists and awful fights instead of properly developing a conclusion.

he had severe back pain for a long time, he asked for a hiatus but i guess the only choices he had was to either cancel bleach or rush it, and tbh you are just hating.

I am 100% sure Orihime is not dead, or will be revived by the end as the story has to end with the similar cast to characters surviving. Killing Orihime would make the continuing on with the hell arc kind of impossible.

Hating is just telling the truth? Lol. I repeat, the final arc is 20 volumes long. That’s longer than many entire manga series. Yu yu Hakusho had a real rushed ending where the entire last arc was cut. And Togashi still managed to round things out in the last couple chapters to provide a decent ending. What the hell is Kubo’s excuse? For that matter, you could fit the entirety of YYH within the chapter confines of just the last arc of Bleach. It’s embarrassing that it took him four years to end his series and he still couldn’t do it properly. Do you guys do anything other than just consume Bleach? If you did you’d see how terrible it is.

so here's my opinion on the last battle with yhwach and ill try to keep it spoiler free. I found the last quarter of tybw to be very rushed and a bit unsatisfactory especially when it came to ichigos new bankai. again it just felt rushed and I dont know if thats because kubo didnt know how to kill yhwach or he was rushing the ending. either way to answer your question, I remember when it was announced bleach was finally continuing my first thought was they better change the ending and so far its been one to one with minor changes here and there but this past ep in its style and drama was perfect even though its anine original unfortunately I can't feel too sad about what has happened but I am very happy that the anime watchers of bleach are being treated better than what the manga readers were experiencing.

tybw wasn't even supposed to be last arc of bleach , as for writing I don't need to care unless thats the reason i am watching a fighting shounen lol , i watch shounen for hype moments not for some writing, ill be honest if you really like writing go watch or read re zero or maybe Vinland saga, march comes like a lion.
