| All these numbered Kaiju appearing and cooking all the captains was rough. Kaiju nr 9 is playing chess while they're playing checkers :P no but seriously when I saw Kafka saving Rin I knew we had less than a minute before the end of the episode lmao. Man.. these cliffhangers are tough 😭 |
| The show as a whole is... fine, but this was a very rough season. It's trying a few different things and they're alright, but it feels so haphazard and shallow. Narumi's introduction as an obnoxious badass. Director Shinomiya's death. Kafka's condition where his transformation may become irreversible. Reno getting a numbered weapon and teaming up with Iharu. The briefest Kafka training arc. The final battle with multiple super-kaiju. And then the cliffhanger where Kafka shows up to the fight. When the blue-haired minigun lady was getting beat up, I was wondering, who is this? Was it someone important? Should I care? None of these moments landed as well as they should've and could've. There's no indication that the next season is coming anytime soon, and I can't think of a good reason to keep going. Kafka vs. No. 9 might be the draw. But now that No. 9 is stupid-powerful, even that sounds kind of boring, since I have a feeling that they'll just up the scale and start leveling entire cities. |
| Thank goodness it is over. And they ordered Kaiju 8 behind, like... their most important unit. They are dumb. This was predictable that Kaiju 9 would defeat them all, a gore fest for shocking purposes until Kaiju 8 joins the late game. It's been just a matter of power scaling and they will play with that until they get bored and end this show. They become stronger, but then enemy will become even stronger, and so this is a infinite loop. Specially boring and flat it turned out to be, without much to appreciate despite the flashy animation during battles. I'll give this an easy 5/10 and here I stop with this series. So it doesn't really matter a 3rd season or not for me, honestly. |

| if the next season would be 12 episode of non stop fighting after that of course they would have to stop here at 11 episode, but on other hand it mean we will never get season 3 because who got the budget for that... |

| The second season itself was pretty good. We loved the character developments, even though everyone now is overpowered it still keeps getting more interesting and challenging. Though, they DANDADANd* us with this "cliffhanger". It stopped just mid scene, not finishing up and previewing whats to come. Not even a good fight teaser. Just ... end. |

| Bodies everywhere. Desperation and everybody fighting to protect the country. It's beautiful to see. And, at the same time, it is sad to see so many people falling in the battle. Even the strongest are no match for the monsters here. Kafka couldn't take it anymore and decided to join the battle. And, it looks like he'll finally be taking the role of the main character on the front lines. Can't wait for the next season. It was really enjoyable. Def. a bit of a stepdown than Season 1 but still a fun watch. |

| No teaser damn but hearing the ED on last time was nice Well as long as it was not one of the main cast members dying i am happy and cant wait to see what they got for next season Kind of hope Kikoru is ok she was getting beat around mercilessly even with her axe and #4 suit Also hope all the numbered suit bearers survive cause no way they get that much power to still get their ass handed to them  |

| Cliffhanger!! Too unfortunate to live in that country. There are kaiju every day. How do the cleaners even clean everything? How can the country even provide food, shelter, and a defense force every single day? There are always casualties everywhere lol. Can’t help but notice that xD |

| This season was baaaad. The one good thing that came of it is that at least they dared to kill some copy pasted goons. A story like this can't keep everyone alive to be taken seriously. And the power creep is ridiculous, it's as bad as Code Geass's mech power creep, except that show was never about fighting... |

| This ending for some reason reminded me DLC practice in video games: Make full game > cut half of it away > sell the cut parts separately. |

| Okay, since I saw that this second season had a slightly lower rating than the first, I skimmed through some reviews. I tried not to watch it with any preconceptions. It was a good season: good fights, improvements in the relationships between some characters, good character development, etc. But Kafka... Ugh, it bothered me that he improved so slowly and didn't show it this season. Even worse... they left the final battle incomplete and I have to wait for season 3. :(( But yes, details like these confirm that the first season was better. |

| Sheesh already designated No. 9 children as the numbered kaijuu, five of them fighting the different area at once. Poor Shinonome as the only platoon leader class with no damn kaiju numbered weapon duelling those No. 13. Talk about bad omen, but also works as the cheesy way for Kafka to finally joins the all-out war against No. 9 numbered kaijuu troops. I still waiting for the late arrival of Reno and his 006 weapon, and some of the rest of the Kafka's ex division member, if they have more screentime. The cliffhanger sure killing, and i arrive at the bad time. Tho seeing Mina and her ass hanging like that without even need her to shows another great firepower against those traffic-lamp-like kaijuu. Well, this isn't bad at all to waiting.... |
