Mistranslated Dub, or Story Change?

I watched the movie in English Dub and I may have misheard it or misunderstood. But When Karasuno beat Nekoma the commentators say they’re moving on to the Semifinals but from what I know it’s supposed to be the quarterfinals up next. So could it possibly be a story change and Karasuno’s match against Kamomedai is the semifinals rather than quarterfinals, or did I hear wrong, or maybe a mistranslation.

Probably a mistranslation. They also say at the beginning (in both sub and dub) that Hinata is the shortest player in the tournament, when they meant to say he’s the shortest blocker

I watched in Portuguese dub and everything was normal. it is probably a mistranslation.
