I got goosebumps all over my body when I've seen the atomic scene, sadly Cid haven't said those magical words. Guess he was clever enough to not say "I am atomic" to prevent bigger damage than needed.

Cid the party pooper or whatnot literally ended his boss fight so soon and hit him with the copy paste once again with his words and all lmao.

I may have forgotten, but why is Cid so excited upon seeing treasures. He cares less about Claire, like she’s capable of handling herself so he doesn’t need to bother.

So we know about Mary and the Blood Queen. For now, the enemy is Crimson. At the last, did Shadow kill Crimson? Interesting. Gonna watch the reactions.

Shadow’s monologue at the end was funny.

Claire is really not the brightest girl in their world, it took her a bit too long to figure out that Mary is a vampire. I did not expect the express atomic in the end to just one-shot Crimson lol

Cid is always so into his delusions that he barely noticed he just saved his sister from certain death. Anyway, if Claire really is possessed and Cid cures her, maybe she'll also join Shadow Garden?

I feel so bad for Rose. I really shipped her with Cid. I hope she gets a better ending than this. She seems to be set up to be a recurring character and if they truly want to rule the world then her connections will be necessary.

This is why I love Vampires. Kyaaaaa!

I see what they did there. They just threw us into the whole vampire thing with no explanation and saved that for E02. Digging the lore and how they are tying things with vampires together with the possessed. Finding out that Claire is potentially a possessed and may end up fighting under her brother is also something that I find interesting. One thing that I have been wondering since Rose started to transform is if only females are able to be possessed.

The magic that the vampire that fought the White Demon/Devil looked an awful lot like the magic that Aurora used against Cid in the goddess trial thing. Is she one too? or maybe a different offshoot of the Progenitor?

And of course, that fourth wall break there at the end... There is little time left. Very little time. **looks at camera** Just a little, right?

Only time will tell and I got enough to finish this season before bedtime.

Eminence in Shadow is really big on female characters teaming up and fighting alongside each other, besides the Shadow Garden themselves, there are small occurrence such as the likes of Rose, Alexia, Beta trio or the Beatrix and Iris duo. Both trio and duo from the previous season. Now with this new season, we get to see a Claire and Mary duo, but things have been taken to a whole new level. Mary being a vampire is an obvious twist, but I didn't expect her to go for the blood in Claire's mouth, she'd rather not bite and injure Claire and would rather go the French route. Damn, yuri Vampire ftw!

This is The Eminence in Shadow, it's a parody show with an edgy chuunibyou MC with a kink for roleplays. Absolutely NONE of the new characters introduced would be of any import, especially if it's a guy. That white hair guy? Yeah gone in the first 5 min. The Crimson vampire lord guy? Bro got back shotted in a single move by Cid. Uh huh, so much for Mary's 'tragic backstory' lol.

Shadow has turned into a fucking broken record. Wtf.

I guess Rose still hasn't figured out that Beta is the Natsume-sensei she always admired. I wonder how she'd react if she found out Cid was the real "author" behind Natsume's works.

Mary's backstory was sad. But it's like Shadow just farted on the whole thing because of his chuunibyou roleplay lol.

His perpetual flaunt that he replicated from Mary finally amended from "The frenzy has begun. The moon is red. The hour of awakening is near. We're out of time." to "It's just a little time, right?" ⛷️

This whole conflict felt rushed, pointless and anti-climactic.
Mixed in with pretty bad plot armor this is the worst episode in the series to me.

@Sayan_Pal I'd argue against that point. The anime itself likes to play up stakes towards conflict and then resolves it in seconds as if it were filler. A good anime has a build-up, conflict, losses, more build-up, and then it goes towards a solution. The only thing present in this anime is an aura similar to Solo Leveling, but aura needs to be earned rather than given.

If a conflict always ends up in a win, then the anime itself is not good in my opinion. All the stakes and dangers are superficial, as they will always end up in a win for Shadow and his group. It feels like watching a level 99 boss fight against level 5 NPCs. There is no challenge, and that formula becomes stale and boring after a while. We can take a look at another isekai, like the first season of Shield Hero; that anime has loss and consequences for the MC. While Kage no Jitsuryokusha never has them, as they never lose.

Since we hold different beliefs, can you tell me why this anime is a good anime in your opinion?
