Also, doesn't this mean the Dragon God was going around in Human disguise in a Human city? and no one noticed... huh...

So... 7 cities were destroyed? I thought they were going to kill ALL humans... guess not.

Unless the 7 cities is literally the entire Human population? and that 90% of all Humans are dead? huh...

This is like Dragon version of "Attack on Titan", Attack on Dragon, LOOOOL

The whole premise is extremely stupid. The dragons decided to lay waste to a kingdom because a pastry shop went out of business? The show is extremely cringe, low effort and bad quality. Anime is mixed with 3D CG, which makes for choppy and unimpressive movement and combat. Not to mention 80% of the things they say in this show is super cliche. Feels like it's catered towards 12-year-olds.

Also are we forgetting the fact that the main character is infatuated with a 12 year old girl?

Tokorode, is the lore here that simple as people live everyday to kill dragons?

Another thought, this episode looks kinda like excercise "What would you tell to your younger self?"
With answer: "I would kill them" xD

The music that started around 35', reminded a bit of SAO music which starts when they win.

This is how you pick a good intro song. 10/10. It melts! Like One Piece this is another anime that advocates meat over vegetables. I can already see the potential of its greatness.

This gotta be the greatest first episode to come out of last year. It's edgy and the animation isn't really masterclass, but the lore is so well executed that I can't help but give this a 10/10. The question now is what follows, I hope the story keeps on getting better because this was awesome

1) First 20 Minutes Were So Boring , Then Wasn't So Bad .

2) Another Anime With Op Song Not To My Taste , Ed Tune Was Amusing.

3) Whats With The Chibi Complex ? If He Is Stronger Than U , Work Together .

4) Crimson Should Be Amusing Or Another Drop . Man , These New Animes Are Mostly Made Without Much Thoughts.

My other complaint about this episode is this important part which I loved in the manga:

This part is the reason I started reading the manga in the 1st place since initially, I was reading Ragna Crimson out of boredom and once I finished the 1st chapter I was going to stop reading it, but once I saw this part in the manga I got hyped as hell and I started reading the manga for real, however, in the anime this part is really crappy, it was lacking that "epicness" from the manga, it lacked "OOMPH".

I can't believe there's people defending the animation of this episode, it was jarringly awful. I expected a lot better from Silver Link, especially for a 47 min premiere episode. There were so many shots where they didn't bother animating the background characters and it looked like the characters were moving against a static backdrop. Just look at the restaurant scene near the beginning of the episode. It's even more bizarre that they kept focusing on the background characters and their lack of movement during the scene, like if you're going to be lazy, at least hide it better.

Dragon god taking revenge on a whole country because his favourite dessert died VS magician training for his whole live to become a god of death and presumably genocided dragon because a little girl died.
All balanced as it should be.

Holy shit, I can't believe how happy I am that some dude sent his future memories back to his younger self so he could save his beloved hero loli from certain death. As fucked up as that sounds, I'm not even joking. Very compelling characters, although the writing seems a little wonky with the dragon god deciding to raze a kingdom over their favorite shop closing down, but easy to look the other way with that one since everything else seemed fine.

Whaaat his future self could transfer his powers to his past self?? That's cheating lmao. There's a price to be paid of course, and judging from his conversation with Crimson, seems like the price is his lifeline being reduced?

The dragons here sound like vampires lol, having those weaknesses and all. And to think all this started because someone robbed the pastry shop..

Man, I still don't get it, how in the world are people enjoying this? After all, the coments on this forum clearly show that people enjoy it....

Or what, is it simple because I can't stand the issues after issues after issues the anime has?

Aka you have dragons, but they are vampires in dragon form, except for the top ones who are even more human like, because you know, dragons. But hey, them dying due to sunlight and the weapon that hurts them being silver, is definitly nothing that's related one to the other. Just like how crawling, non flying, dragon pop up in the middle of the town before anyone can do anything.

Dragon will destroy humanity because the top dragon is an upset child level of maturity. Or what, shop goes out of busness, by hiring staff + production of products and material for personal enjoyment are not acceptable, destroying everything is, after all, the superior vampires, finially got the aproval of their boss. Man, can you imagen if the dragons only targeted the rich, like this getting rid of lack of employers to save money, lack of funds for everything because somehow, and of course legally, the tax became the rich's profit, getting rid of all the inflation (after all, who do you thing recives the extra money you pay? the workers class? Of course is the onwerclass, aka thoes who make money because they own and don't work, the real parasites), thus everything gets even further affordable.

MC gets better and better despite avrage aptitute? Yeah....means he has talend, even if he didn't reach it yet. Meaning this is a massive contradition of the theme, plot, and of course invalids his existential crisis.

But man, can you freaking imagen, you are your self from the future, and insted of freaking telling him, heck even help him and MC girl to get ready, who knows, maybe even prevent the other town from being destroyed and who knows how many killed: oh let me just scare the shit out of my past self by not telling him anything relavent and just repeat pharses until he breaks down mentally and goes mad, because yes, this is how one will evolve into a killing machine! <- referance to real life mass murders who where part of the army or had an abusive parent from the army.

But man, MC is drowning, ok ok, best time to have a long chat so he will not be able to swim

But man, out of all of this, the best part is when MC awakes=)))) He somehow magically prevents the superior vampire from killing MC girl, via the use of ilusion (after all, they are not there but the other belive it's real = ilusion), man, so good, he managed to prevent MC girl from dying, so, let's see if he manages to save her via runni-.... wait.... way is he not running? He had a mad man outbrurst and existantial crisis, and now is walking.... what?

Man, I feel a bit better. Well whatever, the show was already low for me when I see that they constantly use still images, but one or 2 elments use, to create the impresion it's not just still images most of the time.

So Ragna took the ultimate power-up shortcut, traveling back in time from when he was 48 - 50 years to his 16 - 18 years (I counted his years of training), generating a predestination paradox in the process (assuming a single timeline), in order to save Leo.

Cool... I get why his future self will vanish but not why his past self will die sooner; it might be part of the cost of tampering with time. And I assume that redhead is Crimson.

It has a lot of potential, every 5 minutes it was getting more epic. I just hope that Ragna and Leo won't be made into a couple when they get older or something because it will be super ducking weird
