| Ah yes more suffering for Subaru hasn't always been fun has it? |
| It's so fucking stupid how they constantly stop adn talk about the msot useless things when thats the last thing they should do. It was especially egregrious in the previous episode, when Ram drew the attention of the beast, and of course it is this moment that he suddenly notices he's been stabbed after standing around talking outside for minutes, and getting back inside etc., but he dallies with Petra about who's more amazing and whatever. Seriously? He knows his restart has sort of a time limit, he complains ln length about it just a bit alter to Beatrice, and he experienced so much shit that every second scene he's breaking down crying, but has no sense of urgency at all. And this episode again. If the assumption is that Garfiel can't leave the graveyard and won't notice, why no carriage or anything at all? Then they could have talked while on their way. They could at least have walked, but no. And then they barely escape because Ram, again, saved the day - sort of - and what do they do? Stop TALKING to the villagers. We saw them being distributed all along the forest, and everyone has lamp, I'd assume if you have such an elaborate setup of last resort, that you simply follow the chain of lamps, and each and every person can immediately point you in the right direction, so that you DON'T have to stop. But apparently this was the time to FINALLY talk to the villagers, after ignoring them all the time. And then it's what, 10 meters from the actual barrier? He was pushed back by Otto, and Patrasche dragged him and threw him a couple of meters, but clearly they would covered that distance if they had not stopped for smalltalk. It's clear that they really wanted to have some scenes, but scene A and scene B do not fit together, so they had to make the characters make weird decisions. At the same time we saw Subaru both crying and laughing so much it could fill it's own episode, so they have plenty of time to waste. They could have had Garfiel catching up to them because they had to walk slowly given that Patrasche can not carry all of them. Or they need some more time to find the barrier. Maybe have Garfiel find them before the meet up with Ram, have her arrive in the nick of time, and Subaru and Otto ride away, only to have Garfiel catch up anyway. Or whatever. At this point I believe that they don't know what to do with this much time they have on their hands. A regular anime has about 20 minutes of actual content, they have up to 26 minutes. And they have scenes that simply do not fit, as described before. So they fill the time with whatever they have on their hands, which doesn't require real effort. NO ned to come up with real dialogue if a bit of inconsequential smalltalk is enough. No need to think about how someone else can catch up if they stay in place for several minutes, or when Subaru cries or laughs for two minutes or something, longer than the scenes where he talks to Emilia or Roswaal. It fills the air time, and it fills the "in universe" time, so win-win.. |
| Learning that Beatrice isn’t from the Witch’s Cult is a relief. My man Subaru finally got to tell someone about what he’s been through, and even better, Echidna was watching the whole time. I’m sure that’s going to help Subaru a lot. Once again, Echidna proves she’s best girl. |
| Emilia is such a whiny little b1tch . He's still kvetching over that stupid btch "waaaa u nvr tol me ur feelings!" Girls that say shit like this are stupid. Leave her dude. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Rem is the better choice. OMG Otto is a total cutie Really cool jump-scare with those black cloaked guys, that was super cool. Them still being mysterious makes them cool I suppose But the next scenes are brutal as fuck ... really awful but clever the way it ended. Subaru knows he has the ability to reset it all, Of course the instant the cultist's hoods are off and the mystery disappears, they are just clownish. |

| Finally Finally Finally he got to tell someone about RBD and that he's died over and over. Echidna really is shaking things up from her appearences. I get why she's popular as well now well besides the bodidly fluids. Also while i heard about the rabbits I didn't expect it to happen this episode like wtf was that? |

| LMAOO wtf was that stupid ass mauled by rabbits death. Echidna is hot and fun but I hate her spontaneous soft girl uwu moments. Good for Subaru to finally get all that out of himself. Pretty sad that the only witch I've seen so far is just another marketable waifu who has a therapy session with the protagonist though. |

| And that was the last thing I knew about Re:Zero before checking it out, another thing fans of this series like to bring up is rabbits, and yeah that was it, so there’s nothing else I know about this series from here on out. As for the rabbits scene itself, it was brutal for sure, might be one of Subaru’s worst deaths so far, but ngl I was expecting a bit more because of how hyped up the rabbits thing is, well it was still good so it is what it is. Anyway, damn it is a shame that run got cooked because of Garfield, he killed so many people, including Otto and I’m guessing Ram, just because Subaru was escaping, I know this is all because of Subaru’s witch scent but that will forever be a stain on Garfield as a character, and I doubt he’ll have a turnaround quite like Rem did, who also killed Subaru because of his witch smell, but this is Re:Zero after all, so Garfield might have hell of a glowup later, so I won’t say I’ll hate him forever or something lol, but it is tempting. Also, why the hell was the area blanketed in snow when Subaru woke up? Did Emilia die and summon Puck in his beast form again? Well I guess we won’t get the answer to that because Subaru became a bowl of Trix cereal (get it, because the mascot of Trix is a rabbit lol). But man, I think this is the start of Echidna coming around on me, her being the first person Subaru can tell about his death looping is so huge, that was a really good emotional moment to end the episode on, it reminds me of Beatrice being the only one to remember Subaru back in Arc 2, I’m just wondering if Echidna actually cares beyond her thirst for knowledge, well I guess that doesn’t matter for now, the important thing is that Subaru finally has someone that can lend him their shoulder regarding this curse he’s dealt with alone for so long. And lastly, I didn’t think Beatrice was part of the Witch Cult anyway but it’s good to know she apparently not a cultist, and what she actually had is a future telling book of sorts, so I guess that’s why she cherishes it so much. And oh yeah, if MAL is correct, this is the last episode the OP is used for, such a shame because it’s really good, but oh well. |

| so Beatrice isn't a witch cultist. but the book look the same. and that book tells the future. only two copies exists of that. Roswaals response to not an enemy was kinda seems sus. hmm this seem like the concrete timeline with all the villagers helping out. so Frederica said Garfield is imitating her... but this guy looks stronger with his beast form. but if what she said is true bro gets clapped by elsa no diff. just how much stronger this author made Elsa be? tf aaand there's too many casualties for this to the correct time line. and Subaru got teleported again, but this time it seem like hella time have been passed. oh I saw a meme about this rabbit just yesterday. I think it's baaad news. yep it is. lmaoo why did they make the respawn this much longer, any reason for it? damn Echidna asking for praise damn cute😭, again cuuute😭 but what is the price tho? ram dead? yoo I mean if Echidna was inside Subaru's memories she should know right? he was able to finish the sentence!! and she said she saw the return by dead. she knows every step Subaru had taken on the path!! man that gotta be one of the biggest reliefs for Subaru. and Echidna being such a sweetheart about it and comforting him just makes her character soo likable. she's so cute man.😭 man if they're gonna make her a villain along the path that will hurt me. this is the best episode of the series so far for me. ! 10/10 |
