Thors is so amazing, defeating everyone with his bare hands despite Bjorn eating a berserk mushroom. So overpowered. I'm so upset he had to die like that, but for god sake why did Thorfinn have to sneak onto the boat of the enemy. Your father died to save you and now you're putting your life on the line and wasting his sacrifice.

he was a good man!! suspenseful, great cinematics, thor's ideals will definitely leave a lasting impact. i believe that the leader dude is not a bad guy, just following orders. things like this make me think about the forces in history that made men act like this. we saw a glimpse of the man considering forfeit, even giving up the leadership position. but in the end, the fact that he accepted a bounty meant he couldn't go back on it.. just sad

Dammit, a man like Thors deserved to spend his final moments with his family, not with ambushers he refused to kill. Winning a duel before having last resort arrows rain down on him is up there for badass exits at least.

The way Askeladd's men went from laughing at Thorfinn to flinching at his shouts of rage though.

Wow Leif and the others really dropped the ball there, keeping Thorfinn safe and taking him back home should've been their top priority with Thors dead

Nah... The episode's development of events was absurd. Not the whole episode, but from the point after they get trapped in the inlet, the development got weird. I thought the course of actions would be much similar to real life.

A revenge arc for Thorfinn. But the question is, how did no one notice that he was missing?

wtf was that. i was already hooked for the anime since ep.1 but Thors's death on this episode was something else entirely on its own, the rage on the boy's eyes at the end made me gulp so loud, it was almost as I could feel this little guy staring at my soul... i hope everything turns out good for him, and he learns one thing or two from his father's legacy

This is so sad!!!!!!!!! I understand Thors, life is precious, unfortunately, they live in time of wars :(
It hurts seeing his skills go to waste, he’s so strong! I’m conflicted because part of me wants him to use his skills in war, but I also believe war is pointless since no one truly wins.

Thorfinn is immature because he’s still a kid and doesn’t really understand anything yet, but honestly, he still annoys me >,<

I was waiting for the episode that would be a turning point, and it came. What a fantastic and emotional episode! I didn't expect it, and yet somehow it was a logical move that Troll would die, but I'm glad he went in the best possible style. Now here we have a classic revenge story where a kid wants to avenge his father and will do anything to do it. The animation, the music, the fights, everything was at a top level.

quite possibly the best written dad character of all time and a great depiction of a true warrior

The only thing that made me wonder was how short-lived the guys' memories were; the kid had a knife held to his throat, but in the very next scene, they talk as if he’d been hiding and they didn't even know he existed.
