The ending was quite underwhelming for me.

So,judging by this final chapter, was makoto successful in reviving Nora in the end?

It looks like the era they are walking in together is atleast a few decades after the death of that bob haired girl.

Still, the series was not bad overall.
no no actually nora lived about 500 years ago. She was converted by a vampire and when she bite the mc she didn't kill him bcoz he reminded her of someone from her past. And yes nora is fully recovered. They will live together from now on

Typical Oshimi Shuzo ending, feels a bit rushed and leaves many questions unanswered, didn't expect anything else. The beginning of the manga was really good, but after the time skip it slowly went downhill.

Beautiful ending. Poetic, even. I really enjoyed reading this whole manga. Cool story, fresh take on "vampires in modern world" theme, gorgeous art with a lot of references to Van Gogh's paintings I'm personally a fan of. Another solid manga created by Oshimi-sensei.

A manga that is fast to read and that feels good due to how the author, as always, has a very satisfaying panneling and sense of how to keep the story enjoyable. The art was gorgeous and the atmosphere was top notch, though the story at the first half felt rushed and the second half didnt felt that it delivered the kind of story it initially seemed that it was going to convey. Overall worth it and a good read, but could have been way better, less focused on the vampire-obsessed murderer and rushing less the plot of the vampires with the secret half-baked organization. The use of gory image also was equally pretty. the gore elements of the story were just as top notch as the rest.

Being rushed is the main flaw of it and if it took its time better would have been great.

I thought this was a decent vampire story. Wished it focused on characters more though, here I didn't really feel that much of a connection to them. It was hard for me to understand Makoto's motivation, Nora destroyed his normal life which in the end took even his family and friends from him. It was tragic tale from the very beginning. And yet he was acting so compassionate! I did guess her life was tragic as well, but I don't think I could find so much empathy for my predator if I was in Okazaki's place. 7/10

It did what the title says. Read it in one go. I loved it a lot. The ending was pleasant for me.

I didnt really like Makoto that much nor with Nora. I loved Gosha. Im happy she got a happy ending. Though i wish Yuuki didnt get killed like that.

Oshimi is great at telling stories without using any words at all. The last few chapters have been pretty good.

And that's it. We got a happy ending, although it feels slightly bittersweet.

Hmm, I definitely preferred the first half over the second half of this. I am definitely not opposed to timeskips (I love non-chronological storytelling!) and Gosho-san was definitely my favorite character, but I felt like the cult-arc wasn't as compelling and thematically interesting as what was being explored in the first half; how vampirism was like a metaphor for puberty, and how the thirst for blood was like a metaphor for sexual lust. I think it would've been cooler if the author continued exploring those subjects.

Also, Nora is such a non-character. Really uninteresting for her to "win" the love of the main character. Her flashback in the final chapter was definitely too little too late.

But hey, I enjoyed my time with this. It was really suspenseful at times, and I just really fuck with Oshimi Shuuzo's style. It is also the first manga that I've fully read in Japanese, so hooray! That feels really cool. I will definitely be visiting more works of this author in the future, because the Japanese in his work is quite beginner-friendly.
